2014 sees us return to Munich, the city in which time old traditions and architecture meet edgy, cool and high tech design.
Originating from the medieval word Munichen, meaning monks, Munich began as a city in 1158 and has grown to be the largest city in South Germany. The Bavarian capital is a short distance from the German
Alps attracting thrill seekers as well as those looking to soak up the sun and relax.
With an excellent transport network, the state-of-the-art Messe München exhibition centre takes less than an hour from the airport. Feedback from our FESPA community from previous FESPA events in Munich has been excellent where travel is concerned.
Visitors to FESPA Digital 2014 will find it easy to navigate around this charming Bavarian city, thanks to a network of trams and subways (U-Bahn). With temperatures averaging 18 degrees Celsius during May, this is perfectly pleasant walking or biking weather to go and explore.
